FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.
Why should I choose magnetic sunshades over stick-on ones?
A.
Stick-on sunshades are a short-term solution, but there’s no such thing as short-term UV exposure in Australia. Our sunshades are built to last and designed to reduce heat, sun glare and block UV rays for years to come. For longevity, Dr Shadez is your best choice.
Q.
Do you do sunshades for my specific car?
A.
With hundreds of car brands and series supported, we cover just about every popular car model on the Australian market. So you can use your brand, model, chassis or even a photo of your car to figure out which shade fits your vehicle. Still not sure? Drop us a line, and we’d be happy to help.
Q.
What windows are covered with your sunshades?
A.
Rear passenger and rear quarter windows.
Q.
How much of my windows will be covered with sunshades?
A.
We aim for 99% coverage on all our shades.
Q.
How do the magnets work in your Shades?
A.
In specific models and brands of cars – such as Asian and some Continental vehicles – you’ll be able to snap the magnetised screen straight onto the vehicle itself thanks to a metal window framing. If your car doesn’t have this option, you’ll also be provided with metal clips that can be stuck to your window frame. This provides all the magnetism needed to keep our high-quality shades in place.
Q.
Can I still use my car windows with a shade on?
A.
Yes! Our Dr Shadez screens are specifically designed so you can wind down your window and feel the breeze when stationary. Of course, if you’re on the move, we’d recommend you wind your windows up 50% to keep your shades firmly in place.
Q.
Can you replace broken shades?
A.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to replace shades damaged by wear or tear or user error. However, if you feel there’s a manufacturing issue with your shade or have arrived broken, please get in touch with our team, and we’ll do all we can to help.
Q.
What if I purchased the wrong car model when I picked my sunshades?
A.
It happens to the best of us. It is best to get in touch with the retailer you purchased from, and they should be able to set up an exchange for the correct series and model. There may be an additional fee to pay if the new sunshades are more expensive than those you purchased.
